We stand behind every product we make. But there are a few things we want to be upfront about — for your safety and ours. By purchasing and using SLVARA products, you acknowledge the following disclaimers.

1. Intended Use

  • SLVARA products — including wax seal stamps, sealing wax, warmers, spoons, handles, and candles — are designed as stationery and crafting tools. They are not toys. Keep out of reach of children under 12 without adult supervision.
  • Wax seal stamps are not intended for use as legal or official seals.
  • Custom NFC wax seals are decorative craft items. The embedded NFC chip is provided for personal creative use; we make no guarantees regarding long-term chip durability, data retention, or compatibility with all devices.

2. Flame & Heat Safety

  • Wax sealing involves open flame. Scented candles and wax warmers produce real fire. Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials, curtains, papers, and loose fabric.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish the flame before leaving the room.
  • The wax seal spoon and melted wax become hot during use. Handle with care. Allow to cool before touching the bowl.
  • Keep a fire-safe surface and a means of extinguishing flame (water, snuffer, or fire blanket) nearby when sealing.
  • SLVARA is not liable for injury, fire damage, or property loss resulting from improper use of flame-based products.

3. Wax & Material Safety

  • Our sealing wax is formulated with natural soy wax and resin. While we use non-toxic, odor-free ingredients, we recommend using wax sealing products in a well-ventilated area.
  • If you have known allergies to soy, natural resins, or fragrance oils (in our scented candles), please review product ingredients before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
  • Our scented candles contain fragrance oils from Firmenich, Givaudan, Symrise, and CPL Aromas. These are internationally recognized as safe for candle use. However, individuals with severe fragrance sensitivities should exercise caution.
  • Do not ingest wax, granules, or candle fragments. These are not food products.

4. Color & Appearance

  • We photograph all products in natural light and make every effort to represent colors accurately. However, colors may appear differently on your screen due to monitor calibration, brightness settings, and display technology.
  • Wax color may vary slightly between production batches. This is a natural characteristic of small-batch manufacturing with natural materials — not a defect.
  • Wood grain, brass patina, and hand-finished details on handles and stamp heads will have natural variations. No two pieces are identical, and that's intentional.

5. Custom Product Approvals

  • Before we engrave or produce any custom item, you will receive a design proof for approval. Once you approve the proof, you accept responsibility for the design as shown — including spelling, layout, sizing, and orientation.
  • We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for custom products where the final item matches the approved proof, even if you later change your mind about the design.

6. External Links

  • Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. SLVARA does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.
  • Clicking external links is at your own discretion and risk.

7. No Warranty on Information

  • Product descriptions, blog posts, guides, and instructional content on slvara.com are provided for general informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the completeness, reliability, or suitability of this information for your specific needs.
  • Techniques, tips, and methods described on the Site are based on our experience. Your results may vary depending on your tools, materials, and technique.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SLVARA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of — or inability to use — our products or Site.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that product.
  • This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
