Intellectual Property Rights
Last updated: June 2026
SLVARA is built on creativity — ours and yours. This page explains how we protect the work we've created, and how we respect the work you bring to us. If you have questions about anything below, reach out. We'd rather talk than assume.
1. What We Own — SLVARA's Intellectual Property
The following are the exclusive intellectual property of SLVARA and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and design laws:
- The brand name SLVARA — a proprietary coined trademark derived from Latin roots (Silva + Vara). Any unauthorized commercial use of the name, including in domain names, social media handles, product listings, or branding, is prohibited.
- The SLVARA logo and visual identity — including wordmarks, color schemes, typography, and packaging design are proprietary brand assets.
- Website content — all text, product descriptions, blog posts, photography, graphics, and page layouts published on slvara.com are the copyrighted property of SLVARA. Reproduction, republishing, or redistribution without written permission is not permitted.
- Product photography — all images of SLVARA products appearing on this Site, social media, or marketplace listings are our copyrighted assets. They may not be downloaded, screenshotted, or reused for commercial purposes without our permission.
- Packaging design — our kraft paper and eco-friendly cardboard packaging design, including structural layout and typography, is proprietary.
2. What You Own — Your Custom Designs
When you submit a design, logo, monogram, artwork, or photograph for a custom product, the intellectual property of that design remains entirely yours.
What we ask for is a limited, non-exclusive license — just enough to make your order:
- We use your design solely to produce the custom products you've ordered.
- We will not reproduce, display in marketing materials, share publicly, or resell your custom design without your explicit written permission.
- We will not add your design to a catalog, gallery, or portfolio without asking you first.
- Once your order is complete, your design files are stored securely for potential reorders — and you can request their deletion at any time.
3. Your Responsibility — Don't Infringe on Others
By submitting a design for a custom product, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the design or have permission from the rights holder to use it.
- The design does not infringe on the intellectual property rights — including copyright, trademark, or design rights — of any third party.
- You accept full legal responsibility if a third party claims that your submitted design infringes their rights.
We reserve the right to decline any custom order if we believe the submitted design may infringe on the intellectual property of another person or brand.
4. Reporting Infringement
If you believe that content on slvara.com — or a product produced by SLVARA — infringes on your intellectual property rights, please contact us immediately:
📧 service@slvara.com
Please include:
- A description of the copyrighted work or trademark you believe has been infringed.
- The specific URL or product listing where the alleged infringement appears.
- Your contact information, including name, email address, and phone number.
- A statement made in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder.
We take IP claims seriously and will respond within 48 hours. We'll investigate promptly and take appropriate action — which may include removing content or discontinuing a product.
5. Sharing Our Work
We love when our customers share photos of their SLVARA seals and creations. If you'd like to use our product images or content in a blog post, article, or social media post:
- Personal, non-commercial sharing (e.g., Instagram, Pinterest, personal blog) — go ahead. A tag or credit to @slvara or slvara.com is appreciated.
- Commercial use (e.g., in your own store, advertisements, or promotional materials) — please ask first. Email us at service@slvara.com. We're generally supportive — we just want to know.
6. Related Policies
- Terms of Service — Section 6 covers IP within our broader terms.
- Privacy Policy — How we handle the data and design files you share with us.
We protect what we make. We respect what you make. That's the only way it works. ✨
