Your privacy isn't a checkbox to us. This policy explains exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. Plain language. No surprises.
1. Who We Are
SLVARA operates slvara.com (the "Site") and is based in Xingtai, Hebei Province, China. For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to SLVARA. "You" and "your" refer to you — the visitor, customer, or user of our Site.

2. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to fulfill your orders and improve your experience. Nothing more.
Information you provide directly:
- Order information: name, shipping address, email address, and phone number — collected when you place an order.
- Custom design submissions: artwork, logos, photographs, monograms, or design descriptions you send us for custom products.
- Communication content: the content of emails, contact form messages, and design discussions you send us.
- Account information (optional): if you create a customer account, your name, email, and password (encrypted).
Information collected automatically:
- Browsing data: pages visited, time spent on the Site, products viewed — collected via standard Shopify analytics and cookies.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location — collected automatically when you visit the Site.
- Order journey data: how you arrived at our Site (referral source), search terms used, and checkout behavior — collected to help us understand what's working.
What we never collect:
- Credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank login credentials. All payments go through PayPal's encrypted gateway. SLVARA never sees, receives, or stores your payment details.
- Government-issued ID numbers, social security numbers, or passport details.
- Sensitive health or biometric information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for exactly these purposes — and nothing else:

4. What We Don't Do With Your Data
Let's be completely clear:

- ❌ We do not use your custom designs for any purpose other than producing your order — unless you give us explicit written permission.
- ❌ We do not publish, display, or share your custom artwork in our portfolio, social media, or marketing without asking first.
- ❌ We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that affects your rights.
5. Who We Share Information With (And Why)
We share the minimum necessary information with the following service providers — solely to operate our business and fulfill your orders:

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the specific service they provide to us. We never authorize them to use your data for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
6. Custom Design Files
When you submit artwork for a custom product, here's what happens with your files:
- Stored securely: Your design files and correspondence are stored on Shopify's secure servers and our password-protected email system.
- Used only for your order: We access your files solely to create design proofs and produce your custom products.
- Retained for reorders: We keep your design files so you can reorder without resubmitting artwork. You can request deletion at any time — just email us.
- Ownership stays with you: Your design remains your intellectual property. See our Intellectual Property Rights page.
7. Cookies & Tracking
slvara.com uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — for the following purposes:

We use Shopify's built-in analytics. We do not use invasive tracking, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking networks.
8. Marketing Emails
- We only send marketing emails if you opt in — either by checking the newsletter box at checkout or by subscribing through our Site.
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it, and you're removed immediately.
- Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails — you'll still receive order confirmations, tracking updates, and customer service responses.
9. Data Retention
- Order records: Retained indefinitely for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
- Custom design files: Retained until you request deletion — or for up to 3 years after your last order for inactive customers.
- Marketing email list: Retained until you unsubscribe.
- Browsing/analytics data: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form for up to 26 months.
- Customer accounts: Retained until you close your account.
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing service@slvara.com. We'll respond within 48 hours. Note: we may need to retain certain records for legal or tax purposes even after your data deletion request.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Right to object: Object to the processing of your data for direct marketing.
